On the agricultural world of Tartaro, most recruits receive only the most basic military preparation before being rushed back to the fields to keep the harvest schedule intact.
But a select few are pulled from the ranks for something far more demanding, and far more prestigious.

These are the Tartaro Assault Troopers, the only soldiers on the planet granted full, intensive combat training.

Chosen for their discipline, strength, and ability to follow orders under stress, the Assault Troopers undergo a rigorous program of close-quarters combat, rapid-breach tactics, and survival conditioning. Unlike the standard conscripts, who fight with rugged but minimal gear, the Assault Troopers are issued upgraded versions of all standard weaponry, reinforced armor plates, and compact power-packs designed for maximum mobility.
